Afraid to Live?

Do you live your life or does fear live it for you? Life is filled with unknowns and what-ifs. Today is lived minute to minute and tomorrow is uncertain. Many would say that with all of that uncertainty, there is plenty to fear. But, should we allow that fear to control our life and keep us from truly living?

Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” ~ Jack Canfield

Our dreams, our goals, our success – it’s all on the other side of fear.

We let our insecurities and self-doubt stop us from realizing our dreams. We get motivated, feel alive and then we stop. We get motivated again. We stop. It’s a cycle, led by fear.

The only person that can overcome that fear and push through it, is the person in the mirror. As long as we’re breathing, we still have time to find out what’s on the other side. We’re never too old, too young, too introverted, too big or too small to go after our dreams.

It doesn’t matter where we’re from or who our parents were. Our past doesn’t matter, nor does it matter what our social status is. If we want our dreams to become our reality, all we must do is go after them. Nothing is stopping us, except us.

Say goodbye to fear. Now is the time to live.

I know this to be true. As a person with OCD I can tell you that fear drives me. Even though I know it to be true, it is a very hard thing to overcome!

Oh yes. I know this well. OCD is based completely off of fear and I feel for you that you have to deal with it too. It can be extremely frustrating and controlling, and it takes great strength to overcome it.
