We were 26 years married this week. This post I get. Without that wavering I don’t think we’d have made it.

It’s during the ups and downs in life that our love is strengthened. All we need is the willingness to hold on through every storm. The reward is worth it – such as 26 years of marriage and beyond. Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful milestone to celebrate.

Yes that willingness. Perfect word for what it takes to battle on sometimes.
Thank you.

Wavering love, as opposed to “constant love”, which is impossible to maintain!

I suppose that may be true depending on the specific conditions the love was built upon, but I don’t think constant love is impossible. True, genuine love should be steady, even during the hard times. Now, “like” on the other hand – that can definitely waver.

Respect is often one of the first things to go, sadly. Nice quote, my dear. 🙂 Nice to see you again!

Thanks, Linda. 🙂 You are absolutely right, and when the respect goes everything else tends to follow.
