Your Worst Enemy

shadow

Your worst enemy tries to destroy you, your life and your relationships. They are with you everywhere you go and at each moment of the day.

Your worst enemy tells you:

– Your life is a waste.

– You have accomplished nothing worth while.

– You’re a failure.

– You’re fat.

– You’re too thin.

– You’re ugly.

– Just quit.

– You’re stupid.

– You’ll never amount to anything.

– You’ll never reach your goals.

– What’s the point?

– No one likes you.

– No one really cares.

Who is your worst enemy?

YOU!

The person in the mirror.

That person will speak negatively about anything and everything. But, you certainly don’t have to listen to their lies.

Live and think positively.

Your life is what YOU make it and it starts with today.

Someone once asked me, “Are you going to have a good day?” They didn’t say, “I hope you have a good day.” They asked me if I was going to.

That’s the key! Your day is up to you. Do you want to have a good day or a bad day?

I choose to have a good day.

What about you?

I would like to say that I totally agree with you about how a day can go bad if you let it. It really seems to make the day drag & when you
change your day to a good one, you can have a better day & forget
anything & everything that makes your life go down the tubes. Thinking positively is a good thing & don’t let that bad angel think for you. Let your thinking be centered on positive using books & tapes to keep your thoughts in good spirits. Our bodies are really drained after a bad week or two. Find activities to do to stay active & on what can help you to be positive! That helps a lot!

      Rodney,

You are absolutely right about keeping busy. It seems as though people have the toughest times when they find themselves standing idle.

Although staying positive can be a challenge, especially during difficult times, it is vital to a person’s well being. The only person who has control over our emotions is the person in the mirror. As you said, it is up to us individually to change our bad days into good ones.
